AI Literacy Camp (Beginners)
Why you should consider joining this program
Ever feel overwhelmed by the endless chatter about AI—or left out because it all sounds too technical? Maybe you’re curious about using AI in your own life, but don’t know where to start, or worry you don’t have the right tools or competency to use AI. Or perhaps you question whether AI is really as good—or as useful—as people claim.
If any of this sounds familiar, this bootcamp is your invitation to discover what AI really means for you. In just six weeks, we’ll break down barriers, strip away the jargon, and show you—step by step—how AI can be simple, ethical, and actually helpful. You’ll get hands-on with free, accessible tools and gain real-world skills guided by experts who make learning engaging and approachable.
Bring your curiosity, your doubts, and even your skepticism. By the end, you’ll see AI not as hype or mystery, but as a door to new possibilities—for work, creativity, and everyday life. Ready to rewrite your relationship with AI? Join us and be part of the future, no matter where you’re starting from

Next Cohort: 26th July - 6th September 2025 (6 weeks)
Friday and Saturday Classes for 1 hour
Group Classes
The camp classes for this program will be hosted in a small groups setting (max. 5 people per group) to foster practical collaboration with other AI campers.
Week 1 Introduction to AI
In this unit, you’ll begin your journey with a friendly introduction to artificial intelligence. We’ll unpack essential concepts —like AI, machine learning, and deep learning—and trace the evolution of AI from early days to today. Through relatable real-world examples, you’ll see how AI already impacts your daily life, and we’ll clarify common myths and misconceptions to separate fact from fiction.
Week 2
Prompt Engineering
In this unit, campers get hands-on with AI tools. They will explore the essential skill of prompt engineering—crafting effective questions and commands to get the best results from large language models like ChatGPT and other generative AI tools. You’ll learn the art and science behind writing clear, specific prompts that guide AI systems to produce accurate, creative, and useful responses. Through practical exercises and real-world examples, you’ll gain hands-on experience optimizing prompts for tasks like summarizing information, brainstorming ideas, composing text, and more.
Week 3 Understanding Machine Learning
Dive deeper by exploring the core mechanism that powers most AI: machine learning. You’ll learn about different learning types (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement) and the massive role data plays in teaching machines how to recognize patterns and make decisions. This week also highlights the critical importance of clean, unbiased data, introduces basic data privacy concepts, and discusses why ethics matter in AI development and use.
Week 4
AI Applications in Everyday Life
Discover the countless ways AI is woven into the fabric of modern society. Explore practical applications in communication (such as chatbots and language translation), content creation, and everyday tools like email filtering and recommendation engines. The week culminates in a look at how AI is transforming major industries—healthcare, finance, transportation, education, and more—equipping you with a broad understanding of its positive impact and disruptive potential.
Week 5
The Future of AI & Career Pathways
This week surveys the rapidly evolving landscape of AI technologies. Explore the most promising trends, such as generative AI and advances in automation, and discover how they might impact your career and daily life. We’ll also cover in-demand AI-related skills and tools, offer guidance on identifying new opportunities, and share resources for continuous learning—empowering you to grow alongside AI technology
Week 6
Camp Project
For your capstone project, you’ll apply everything you’ve learned to design and build an AI-powered solution that automates a real-world workflow. You’ll begin by identifying a repetitive or time-consuming task—such as organizing emails, scheduling appointments, or data entry—and explore how AI tools and models can streamline or automate the process. Working step by step, you’ll analyze the workflow, select appropriate AI technologies (like chatbots, intelligent scheduling assistants, or document processing tools), and develop a prototype solution.
