Give your child real skills for the digital world.
What We Do at TonTech
-
At TonTech Camp, we offer online Coding with Python, Graphic Design, and Web Development classes for children aged 9 - 16, allowing them to choose the learning path that best matches their interests. Our goal is to equip young learners with the technical and digital skills needed to thrive in today's technology-driven world.
We believe that in this fast-growing age of Artificial Intelligence (AI), every child should have access to 21st-century skills that will prepare them for the future. Through hands-on projects, interactive learning, and real-world applications, we help students build creativity, problem-solving abilities, digital confidence, and a strong foundation in technology.
Our experienced instructors are dedicated to guiding each child from beginner level to becoming a confident tech innovator. We don't just teach children how to consume technology; we empower them to create, build, and use technology to solve problems, bring ideas to life, and make an impact in the world around them.
-
Across Africa, young innovators are proving that age is not a barrier to making an impact. From young programmers creating applications to solve community problems, to designers using digital tools to tell stories and build brands, children are increasingly using technology as a tool for innovation and self-expression. Nigerian education advocate and filmmaker Zuriel Oduwole began creating media projects at age 10, first featured in a Forbes magazine in 2010 and has become a globally recognized voice for education and youth empowerment. Likewise, William Kamkwamba from Malawi started experimenting with technology as a 14-year-old teenager and built a windmill that brought electricity to his community, demonstrating the power of curiosity, creativity, and innovation.
By starting early, children gain the skills and mindset needed to adapt, lead, and make meaningful contributions in whatever path they choose and at TonTech Camp, we believe children should not only consume technology but also understand how to create with it. Through our Coding, Design, and Web Development tracks, students learn how to build digital solutions, create engaging designs, develop websites, think creatively, and bring their ideas to life.

Meet The Tutors
Meet Somto
Hi, I’m Somto. I’m passionate about learning, and over the years I’ve discovered that I’m happy whenever I’m able to pass across knowledge through teaching or interactive communication.
On most days, I’m involved in tech. My background is in Computer Science; I hold a degree in Data Science from the University of Twente. My background has provided me with opportunities to work in different leading IT companies and research organizations, where I’ve mainly focused on building AI and Machine Learning systems.
I’ll be looking forward to tutoring and supporting you on your learning journey - whether that’s in the kid’s camp or the AI literacy programs.
Meet Kate
Hi, I’m Kate. I am an educator passionate about helping people discover and develop their skills. I gig at Ton Tech Camp as a Python tutor, where I guide young learners through the basics of coding in a way that’s interactive, creative, and fun.
My background is in education research; I hold a Master’s degree from the Technical University of Munich, where I focused on how people learn and develop. Along the way, I’ve also built skills in Python, data analytics, and technical writing; all of which I now bring into designing learning experiences that are both engaging and meaningful.
I’m excited to contribute to curriculum development and support learning strategies that help people build confidence, think critically, and enjoy solving problems with code.
